 “Magnet Hospital” Designation for Nursing Excellence -
Several Shands hospitals are designated as “magnet” hospitals for nursing excellence
by the American Nurses Credentialing Center: Shands at UF, Shands Children’s Hospital
and Shands Rehab Hospital.

Jacksonville academic medical center campuses are staffed by nationally and
