The primary goal of the UF Lung Cancer Center is to provide excellent medical, surgical, and nursing care to patients diagnosed with lung cancers and other malignancies of the chest, including, but not limited to:
The care we provide is comprehensive and individualized to meet each patient’s unique needs. Patients receive the full attention of the UF faculty and staff, from the Lung Cancer Coordinator to the program's physician specialists, nurses, social workers, and support services. These team members encourage open and honest communication, while treating patients with the respect and compassion they deserve.
