Shands.org seeks to provide tools and information to healthcare professionals to make it easy to refer and transfer patients, answer medication questions, and provide tips for running a better business.

Shands at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla., is one of the premiere health systems in the Southeast. Shands at UF is a 618-bed tertiary care center with 144 intensive care beds.

Physicians can easily refer their patients to Shands at UF through the Consultation Center. The Shands at UF Transfer Center can assist physicians with hospital-to-hospital transfers.
