This one-year fellowship is available to RNs who have at least three years of experience at Shands at the University of Florida along with the passion to provide clinical leadership within our environment. The program offers competency and skill development opportunities via:

• leadership development seminars and workshops
• individual learning/career development plans
• coaching and mentoring
• an individual leadership skills project

Activities focus on self-knowledge, vision, risk-taking and creativity, interpersonal and communication effectiveness, and inspiring and leading change. The Staff RN Leadership Fellowship is limited to 15 participants with applications due each August.
