Description: Nearly one-third of U.S. workers report high levels of stress, and one-quarter of those employees consider work their No. 1 stressor, according to a recent U.S. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health study. University of Florida psychologists and psychiatrists at the Shands Vista Florida Recovery Center recognize the prevalence of workplace stress and offer the Personal Occupational Wellness Efficacy and Rejuvenation Program. The POWER Program is specifically designed for physicians, executives, professionals and other business leaders who exhibit negative stress reaction, communication problems, dysfunctional interpersonal relationships or behaviors leading to disruptive work environments.
