In an effort to comply with federal laws and regulations, Shands Healthcare Clinical Laboratories adopted a Clinical Laboratory Compliance Program as recommended by the Office of Inspector General (OIG). The OIG Compliance Program Guidance for Clinical Laboratories recommends that hospital laboratories provide annual notification to their clients on pertinent topics.
